Meet the Characters

Grandpa

Grandpa is getting close to retirement age and is planning to spend more time with his grandchildren, fishing with them and telling them stories. He has too many hobbies, but gardening is his favorite.

Grandma

Grandma expects to retire when Grandpa does. She writes, volunteers for a local charity, sews, gardens, and is considered an accomplished cook and baker.

Anthony

Anthony is almost six years old. He loves cats, following baseball, and having dinosaur facts read to him. Most of all he loves to draw. Grandma has learned to have lots of drawing materials ready for his visits.

Houdini

Houdini is a striped tabby who is mostly Grandpa’s cat. He is the family’s official chipmunk chaser. He keeps one eye open for them when he is napping on the deck.

Radar

Radar is a friendly white German Shepherd; he got his name because of his big ears. Radar loves playing with the grandchildren when they visit.

T-Rex and T-Bear

T-Rex and T-Bear are Anthony’s favorite toys. T-Rex is a very detailed model of a dinosaur that Anthony likes to draw. T-Bear mostly tags along on adventures that Anthony and T-Rex create.
